This stone is located in the Hartland Village Cemetery.
Information from 1984 Hartland Village Cemetery survey, Hartland Historical Society. In that survey it is noted:
Barker Crooker, his wife Deborah, William S Crooker\'s wife Paulina (Paul)Crooker and daughter Eliza were originally buried at the Center or Middle of Town Cemetery, according to Byron P. Ruggles\' record of July 30, 1907. “This Cemetery is now (1907) overrun almost completely covered with cinnamon roses, blackberry briars, choke cherry bushes, brush, brakes and other weeds.†BPR
The original gravestones of Barker and Deborah Crooker are in the Hartland Village Cemetery. William S Crooker, Paulina (Paul) Crooker, Eliza W., Luella A. and Ethan A. have a large modern monument in Hartland Village Cemetery with their names and dates on the front side. All of the cemeteries in the Town of Hartland are now (1984) mowed and kept in very good order.
