Sophronia Tinkham married Benjamin Fletcher in Hartland, January 16, 1850. Her birth record shows her parents as Squire and Melinda Tinkham. Sophronia’s death record shows her mother’s maiden name as Hoisington and that the mother was born in Hartland. The cause of death is listed as Paralysis and that she died in Windsor.
She married John Q. A. Diddy July 5, 1877. He was age 40 at the time. He was a painter. His father was William and his mother Milly (Emily) Cliaffer (?). They were married in Windsor. It was his first marriage, her second. (VT Vital Records)
