Charles Ellery Colston was born February 20, 1843, the son of Avery and Mary (Brown) Colston. He married Marcia Burk March 31, 1867 in Hartland, VT. He died July 22, 1906 in Woodstock, VT of heart disease.
The back side of the stone lists their daughters, Roseltha S., born October 5, 1868, and Clara M., born December 29, 1878.
