Richard S. Kahan was born 24 Jun 1935 and died 3 Sep 1992 in Hartland, at the age of 57. He was married at the time of death. (Source: Vermont Death Index, 1981-2001) Mr. Kahan's ashes were initially buried in Aldrich Cemetery. The family later moved the ashes to Mt. Auburn in Boston.. The flat gravestone and a bench was left at Aldrich Cemetery. When the cemetery was moved in 2013, the stone was moved to the New Aldrich Cemetery but the bench was not.
